Our history
The first Access Services Conference is held in Atlanta to create a space for access services-focused professional development.
The conference is incorporated as Access Services in Libraries, Inc., establishing a nonprofit organization to support ongoing work.
ASiL continues to expand through community membership, conference programming, and publishing initiatives.
