Abstract

This small panel discussion will focus on successful methods of training student workers. Krista Higham, Access Services Librarian at Millersville University will discuss "Customer Service Training for Student Employees". She will focus on a project "creating short slide show segments geared toward student employees to emphasize good customer service techniques". Krista would like to show how "collaborating with others on campus can produce great results". Jennifer Sirotkin, Coordinator of Library Access Services at The Oxford College Library of Emory University will discuss how "A Good Student Employee Training Program is Hard to Find" and the best practices that the Oxford College Library has implemented and shared across campus departments.
