Abstract

Access services library workers are on the front lines supporting our users. But we are often not the first included at the table when it's time for copyright education. Come find out about our library superpowers under copyright law, including when you can make preservation and replacement copies of books, how you can use film clips for classes, what you can digitize for reserves, and how fair use works for us, including controlled digital lending. We'll give an update on recent developments such as the CASE act, and (of course) point to some great resources for future reference.
