Virtual Circulation Desk Assistance: Pros, Cons, and Lessons Learned

Abstract

For the Fall 2020 semester, Goodson Law Library launched a virtual circulation desk assistance using an iPad and a Zoom room. This presentation will go over:-The technical challenges in establishing the system;, -How it was used and received by our stakeholders;, -How the service evolved over the course of the academic year;, -How our stakeholders like to receive receive remote services; and, most importantly , -Lessons we learned for the future of our Circulation Desk operations.
