Managing "The Kids"

Abstract

Being a student worker in the stacks is very different from working at a service point largely because students are frequently working on projects independently without a supervisor hovering over them. In this presentation, I will discuss the various methods I use to keep track of my student worker's projects all the while allowing them to maintain some autonomy and without micromanaging them.
